Heat Treatability

The solution heat treating temperature is between 1625 F or 885 C. The time at temperature is one hour per inch of section thickness. The quenching medium is water. The precipitation hardening temperature is 900 F or 482 C. The time at temperature is one hour.

Machinability

The machinability rating of this alloy is 50. (Where Alloy 360 FC Brass is 100).
