Principle Design Features

High Copper Alloy. Beryllium Coppers are available in ductile, heat treatable tempers and in mill hardened tempers. Alloys are used in a wide range of applications requiring very high strength and stiffness with good conductivity. C17510 has conductivity of about 50% IACS and moderate strength.

Weldability

Soldering is rated as "good", brazing is rated as "good", oxyacetylene welding is "not recommended", gas shielded arc welding is rated as "fair", coated metal arc welding is rated as "fair", spot welding is rated as " good", seam welding is rated as " fair", and butt welding is rated as "fair".
