Principle Design Features

CRONIDUR 30 is a pressure-nitrided iron-chromium-molybdenum steel for highly loaded components. The alloy developed by Energietechnik Essen GmbH is characterised by: * high hardness with good impact bending performance * excellent corrosion resistance in hardened and unloaded state as well as good corrosion characteristics in hardened and tempered state (to max. 500 °C)
